Weave STEM concepts into your curriculum using a real-world application of learning. This session explores and examines decision-making and problem-solving that can create a link between the classroom and the real world. As problems and solutions are addressed, focus will be given to using critical thinking skills and inquiry. Attendees will receive FREE lesson plans and resources that are sure to foster creativity and a passion for learning.
Jeannette Bennett is a national award-winning economics teacher. As principal, seven of her teachers were also national award winners. She taught economic education at the college level and was honored as a master economics teacher. She has served as a curriculum designer, developer, consultant and presenter for professional development programs throughout the nation. Bennett began her career at the Federal Reserve Bank in 2004. As senior economic education specialist, she continues to write, design, develop and present workshops and conferences throughout the region and nation. Bennett earned her degrees from Arkansas State University.
