EMPOWERING PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS AWARD

Attention PREPS Districts! We have launched our CREATIVE AWARDS! This will be an opportunity for you to showcase the creative ways your district has overcome the obstacles of 2020!

Our second award to highlight is the EMPOWERING PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS AWARD -What are we looking for? Parents and caregivers have taken on brand new roles in the education of their students. Has your school district empowered them? Have you provided training for technology and devices to the parents or caregivers of your students? Have you leaned on your parents in a novel way this year? We have always depended on parent support. However, this year we have relied on the families of our students in many new ways. Many school districts are transcending cultural and linguistic barriers empowering home-school relationships. If your district has empowered parents and caregivers, then this is the award for you! Please upload pdfs, PowerPoints, or video to share all your great partnerships with parents and families. (If you would like to submit multiple artifacts for this award, please compile all the artifacts and embed them into one PowerPoint or pdf format.)
